Last year ASOT 650 New Horizons World Tour defined the definition of “world tour” by making stops in Moscow, Almaty, Yekaterinburg, Utrecht, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Miami. But with so many artists, and so many different styles of trance, as the scene evolves, so must the tour. During ASOT 684, Armin van Buuren announced that this year it will be A State of Trance Festival spread out across the world as usual, but this time offering numerous stages and artists for even larger crowds to enjoy.
Staying true to the roots of ASOT we’ll be kicking of this edition with a celebration weekend, ASOT style. The home of this celebration weekend will be Australia, during which an overwhelming selection of trance Djs will take the stage during a live recording of the 700th episode of A State Of Trance on February 6th in Melbourne and February 7th in Sydney. On February 21st, we will proudly host A State Of Trance Festival with the first show in Utrecht.
As with every year, Armin promises to continue to announce more locations and details during ASOT broadcasts each week. Fingers crossed for multiple locations in North America!
