Infected Mushroom to perform at the Brooklyn Bowl in NYC on January 16th (Tickets and Signed Poster Giveaway)

Electronic dance music mega-legends, Infected Mushroom, will be bringing their ‘FungusAmongUS’ 2013 Tour to the Brooklyn Bowl on January 16th. They’re best known as the sonic innovators of the ‘Psychedelic Trance’ genre and their shows offer a life changing experience. The mushrooms, made up of Amit Duvdevani and Erez Eisen, have been ranked twice amongst the world’s “10 Best DJ’s” by Bible of the Scene, a U.K. DJ magazine. With over 14 million hits on their YouTube Page and a standing #8 position on the Billboard Chart, the pair have created a music kingdom like non-other.

To follow up on their legendary 2009 album entitled ‘The Legend of the Black Shawarma‘, Amit and Erez released ‘Army of Mushrooms‘ via Dim Mak Records in May of 2012. The thirteen track album topped the iTunes dance charts in multiple countries. They also have an EP entitled ‘Friends On Mushrooms, Vol. 1‘ which is currently available for pre-order and will be released on January 22nd. Infected Mushroom are prepared to kick off 2013 with a bang, this year marks a year of renovation as the duo embark on their previously mentioned ‘FungusAmoungUS’ tour.

Their shows offer a new 3D mapped experience, the production side is one of a kind, while the music end is both euphoric and unique. Infected’s 3D mapped visuals are landscaped onto “pods”, projecting psychedelic images that become the backdrop for mysterious vocals, hypnotic arrangements, and trippy synthetic rhythms. The set up was designed by Vita Motus and V Squared Labs, the creators of Amon Tobin’s legendary ISAM production. The ‘FungusAmongUS’ tour is truly a journey that shall infect each and every attendee.
