Yesterday, Pretty Lights released his video recap for the two night NYE run in New York City including a new tune titled “The Day Is Gone.” Rather than pack out a large venue, DVS chose a smaller, more intimate setting at Roseland Ballroom. The Pretty Lights Family made trips from everywhere imaginable to show their love and in return, he produced a track specifically for the NYE shows.
We can’t help but get frantically excited when the master of electrosoul drops something new. Almost always unexpected, Derek is known for carefully crafting and designing each and every one of his tracks, leading us to wait months between releases.
