One of techno’s breakout stars of 2019, Rebuke has finally dropped his highly anticipated Rattle EP on Drumcode.
The Irish talent made his debut on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul imprint back in April with 50 First Raves and has since been kept on a close eye by the head honcho himself. Now, he joins the Drumcode tribe with this blazing three-track stunner that’s high-energy through and through, and absolutely devilish to its core.
The most anticipated of the trio, “Rattle” leads the charge with the producer’s trademark rubbery rhythms, pin-sharp drums, intermittent rave horns and an acid line that will quite literally make your heart rattle. “Operator’” acts as the middle man with fierce drum sequences and an escalating bass that keeps you locked in for the ride. Finally, the closing track “Metal” builds with intergalactic stabs and claps, offering an otherworldly end to this striking EP.
Inspiration for Rattle came from the artist’s experiences at Drumcode’s WMC parties at Space Miami. Before it even dropped, the EP had been blistering through the scene and becoming a highly anticipated release for the label after Rebuke teased videos of Adam Beyer and Green Velvet road testing the tracks to a huge reception.
