Cazzette have always been one of my favorite dance music duos. I was extremely amped to see them at Ultra weekend one, but their set got cut extremely short. Their ‘Eject’ album series is awesome but now it seems that they’ve taken the remix reins and turned their style into something a little more gangster.
Sebastian & Alexander’s latest offering is a rework of Tim Berg‘s ‘Alcoholic’. They completely transform the original into a learn wit it, rock with it, trap banger. Off the top you dont’ really hear the trap influence, but as the record progresses and breaks into a “Call it what you want, call it, I’m a fucking alcoholic” vocal sample – you’ll quickly realize whats coming next. Cazzette’s ‘Alcoholic’ Trapleg Mix is set to release April 19th on LE7ELZ.
