Ben Davis is the mastermind behind the project Vibe Street, his musical production alter-ego with quite possibly one of the most unique sounds you’ve heard all year. Vibe Street combines elements of hip-hop, funk, soul, and the kicker- bluegrass, for a sound that is soothing to the soul and mellow on the heart.
Davis began his career in his home-town Connecticut, moved to Wisconsin, but knew that in order to fully further his musical dream, he had to move to the mecca of where genres all melt together- Colorado. Since then, the moniker known as Vibe Street has gained force, with Davis gaining exposure through various venues throughout the area. Chalk up a couple appearances at Vibe Fest (innovative, online music festivals put on by the Pretty Lights Family) and Vibe Street was gaining momentum. The entire Vibe Street idea has started to really come to fruition as of late; Davis was selected as one of two acts to perform at Snowball Music Festival in Colorado, and is now on the cusp of releasing his debut full-length album.

Here it is folks, “Something More”, the single off my upcoming debut album “The Road To Something Perfect”. The song represents the mood and style I am trying to capture – that feel-good bluegrassy vibe with a nice dose of upbeat funk and bounce.
I have been working on these 12 tracks over the last 6 months, and I cannot be more excited to finally get them out to the public and to be able to start working on some new projects.
