Summer is officially here, which means Hard Summer is also here! In just a few weeks, Hard Summer will be making it’s return to the NOS Event Center for it’s 2022 edition. This year’s event will include five outdoor stages, plenty of free water stations, shade structures, a one-acre lagoon, cooling mist systems all throughout the venue, and many more with a primary focus on the maximum comfort of attendees in mind. To get us all excited, we wanted to share with you 5 reasons why we’re excited for this year’s Hard Summer!
1. Expansion to 3 days:
For the first time ever, the festival will be expanding to three days, which will provide more programming to even more rising artists, while spotlighting new sub-genres and sounds gaining traction on the internet and beyond! The 2022 edition of Hard Summer will give music lovers an extra day to take in the multi-genre curation the festival has become famously known for.
2. VIP Perks:
Hard Summer is known for their insane VIP perks, especially the return of the giant VIP pool that looks directly at the Hard Stage. This massive pool is filled with cold water and floaties that will help you stay cool in the SoCal heat. There’s also a dedicated VIP Viewing area at every stage, as well as expedited VIP festival entrance and dedicated VIP bathrooms with A/C. Can’t forget about the complimentary WiFi and complimentary phone charging stations. VIP tickets are still available so make sure you snag one. It’s definitely worth it!
3. That lineup tho:
Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Uzi Vert, and Porter Robinson will be headlining this year’s festival. But just like every other year, HARD Summer will again shine light on some of the top names in electronic music including sets from multi-talented French musician Madeon, beloved Australian producer Alison Wonderland, a special B2B performance from bass legends, Zeds Dead with Subtronics, house and techno veterans like Nicole Moudaber, DJ Tennis, and so much more!
4. Vibes, vibes, and more vibes:
One thing that sets apart Hard Summer from many other music festivals is the immaculate vibes from the lovely Southern California crowd. Past year’s events have showcased a crowd filled with high-energy, excitement, and plenty of love. In true Hard fashion, we are excited to feel the love from the beautiful crowd once again.

There ain’t no Hard Summer without a proper hype video. This year Hard Summer claims it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.
