Australia has had the pleasure of welcoming a bunch of trance heavyweights into the fold in 2018. Armin van Buuren is bringing A State of Trance back for the first time in a few years, European standouts Vini Vici and Neelix just took their turn touring Australia, and for the first time in a few years, Above & Beyond will also be gracing the land down under.
Above & Beyond’s Common Ground Tour will be making stops in Melbourne and Sydney and is in support of the new album by the same name. Common Ground was released in late January and has set the trance world on fire. Hits like “Tightrope” and “Northern Soul” preceded the release and hinted at what fans would be able to expect from the LP.
Common Ground has Above & Beyond’s signature style and range. Songs like “Sahara Love” bring emotion to the forefront and in true Group Therapy style make you want to hug all the people you love and sing along, while songs like “Alright Now” bring the energy engage listeners in a more upbeat and dancey portion of the album. The variety on the record ensures that it is incredibly versatile and can be the soundtrack to a summer barbecue or a night out.
All the hits and more will be on full display when they take the stage in June. Pre-sale tickets will be going on sale on the 4th of April at 10 am (AEST).
