Badassraves first got its start back in 2010 throwing parties in the Baltimore and DC areas. Although they may have started small, their organization is anything but that in 2017. In addition to throwing parties in DC and Baltimore, the event service is also behind the production of Nightmare Festival, Big Dub Festival, and Dreamscape. One of Badassraves’ most legendary parties came at a storage warehouse in Baltimore during January of 2012. The underground party attracted more than 1,000 people and featured body painting, psychedelic decorations, top of the line visuals, and live music. Although the party would eventually be shut down at 4 AM, there was no doubt that it went down as one of Badassraves’ most fabled nights.
Since Third Eye’s inaugural event in 2012 Badassraves has been unable to find a suitable venue to throw their next event, until now. Just recently announced by Badass, Third Eye will return to DC on April 22nd at a secret location yet to be released. Although no lineup has been released, we can expect to see performances from Badassraves favorites like 2Rip. Early bird has sold out, however general admission tickets are available for $25 and can be purchased here. We hope to see you in DC later in April!
