Boogie T. brought the RiddimStep down to the dirty south on September 28 when he visited Saturn with special guests SFAM and Black Carl. This event was heavy and deep, and it was definitely a night to remember.
The night began with a performance from Black Carl. He threw down some dirty wubs and played some all-original tunes which made the crowd go wild. He got the crowd up and moving and created an atmosphere that was welcoming to all. Black Carl was an amazing performer on this lineup, and he played a set that set the tone for the rest of the night.
SFAM took the stage after Black Carl. They came out swinging when they began their set with loud, hard riddim, and they never let up through the entirety of their set. They kept the vibe going from Black Carl, and the crowd loved it. SFAM hyped up the crowd and never stopped, which made them a great addition to this event.
Boogie T. stepped on stage and the crowd went wild. He began serenading the crowd and took us through a journey of riddim. He played well-known tracks such as ‘WhatStep’, ‘2KFO’, ‘Can’t Hold me Down’ (Booge T. Remix), ‘RiddimStep’ and more. Near the closing of his set, he pulled out his guitar and played ‘Flava,’ a collaboration with Ganja White Night, while he sang. It was an amazing night and we can’t wait for Boogie T. to return to Birmingham
