Since our interview with Boombox Cartel, the two have kept busy planning and producing great things for the spring music season. They added new tour dates for March, April, May and June 2014 and dropped a sick twist on ‘Wonder,” packing even more energy into the Adventure Club original. Americo Garcia and Jorge Medina, the two behind Boombox Cartel, are constantly pushing the limit. There tracks have these well-crafted moments where the sound is unfamiliar, yet relatable simultaneously.
So, more about Boombox Cartel’s remix of Adventure Club’s “Wonder.” The remix begins with harmonious background effects surrounding the vocals of The Kite String Tangle. Next, a coloful bridge leads to a powerful build up. The drop hits and a raw, dirty, and dark bassline rips through your speakers. It was here that I realized how polarized the remix really is. Gentle and emotional beginnings transition to bass-heavy drops quickly and intuitively.
A highlight of the tour will be the Atlanta stop, located at The Terminal West. Not only is Terminal West an awesome venue to start with, but Boombox Cartel will be playing alongside HeRobust, Alex Young and more. The show is to celebrate HeRoBust’s homecoming in the city of Atlanta. Like with any homecoming, the DJs will be going all out, so what’s the best part?
You’ll be there.
Boombox Cartel hooked up the WRR community with a pair of GA tickets to their show on Saturday, May 31st in Atlanta. Scroll down for more information.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a awesome job with this. Additionally, the blog loads very quick for me on Opera. Superb Blog!|
