Jan/29/13 – Clockwork, also known as RL Grime, has finally released a little preview of the big room electro house EP that he’s been working on. ‘Surge’, the title track, is Clockwork’s first project to feature a vocalist and I’m very impressed with the outcome. He had the privilege of working with the extremely talented Wynter Gordon. Their track is a gentle but catchy, the vocals are smooth and flow seamlessly with the choppy melody. On the other hand, the B-side titled ‘Tremor’ leans towards Clockwork’s grimy electro house roots. Preview both records below, the official release date for the ‘Surge’ EP is February 12th.
