This coming weekend, get ready to douse your livers in mimosas and Coronas for Opera’s Brunch House Special with special guest, Elephante. The venue has been hosting these brunches throughout the summer, but what makes this event special is Corona will be bringing their Electric Beach to Atlanta for the first time. The traveling experience helps to bring together beats and the experience of a beach, especially for those that aren’t exactly close to a shoreline. CEB has made appearances at festival circuits such as EDC, Spring Awakening, Hard Summer, Nocturnal, and more. Needless to say, there will plenty of the brand’s most coveted summer beer and tunes to get to down to.
The producer behind Elephante is LA-based Tim Wu, an up and coming big room and progressive house artist that creates a party when on stage. He garnered attention after throwing down remixes of tracks from artists like Clean Bandit and Lorde. The meaning behind his moniker references to the phrase “the elephant in the room” and how he broke away from his corporate job to follow his passion in music. This past year his single, “Age of Innocence” reached millions of streams on Spotify and his other single “Closer” was apart of the streaming service’s top “Viral 50” list. Just last year he dropped a masterful blend of progressive house, synthpop, and trap in his debut EP “I Am Elephante”. Wu has shown no signs of slowing down and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
