Creamfields returns to Daresbury, UK on during the country’s Bank Holiday August 20 – 23, 2013 with a stacked lineup featuring some of the biggest names in electronic dance music like Avicii, Knife Party, Eric Prydz, The Prodigy, Tiesto and Above and Beyond. You can also look forward to label curated tents from Anjuna Beats, Size Matters, All Mixed Up, Clublife and more.
The festival is spread throughout three days, but the majority of music takes place on Saturday and Sunday. I would recommend getting two day passes and taking that Monday off of work for your recovery.
You may remember that Creamfields had to shut down last year because of flooding, but the festival reports that they’ve spend over £500,000 on improvements to improve drainage and communication. Some of the arenas that flooded last year will be moved to higher grounds. All of this is good news to fans and should provide a better experience.
The shutdown was confusing because according to some attendees the rain stopped on Friday, only leaving the grounds wet and muddy on Saturday. One person said to the BBC that it was nothing unusual for a music festival (I agree). Hopefully these problems are addressed in 2013.

It’s odd that a festival of this magnitude would sell single day passes so early.
