From A-Trak‘s tweet alone you can tell that Crookers had made a significant impact on dance music. Although the duo have parted ways both Phra and Bot will still be making music, as you can see in their message above Bot states:
After having worked together for more than 8 years now, the time has arrived to start exploring different directions.
Phra will continue to producing under the name Crookers, yesterday he released this ‘Don’t Be Sad’ mix. The electro blast is meant to reassure fans and prove to them that life will go on. The mix is filled with brand new music by Phra’s friends and Phra himself. Needless to say the ‘New Crookers’ sounds promising, this is the the message included with the mix on the Crookers SoundCloud:
Hello,
I know..yeasterday was a SAD day!
That’s why I woke up in the morning and I started to do this mix to make u feel a ‘lil bit better.
It call “don’t be sad” cause my grandmama use to say to me “don’t be sad” when I was a sad-child (but she used to say to me in Italian).
The mix is full of new stuff, from friend producers and a LOT of new CROOKERS music (or music from New Crookers).
I’ll see u in the next gigs and party with u like a stupid as usual.
