Los Angeles-based producer DallasK has teamed up with Protocol label owner Nicky Romero to deliver their latest work, “Sometimes.”
While the two producers have paved their own distinctive paths in the music industry over the years, they’ve recently began to make new and monstrous waves with individual projects that led them to join forces on this latest hit.
Guided by the gorgeous vocals of XLYØ, “Sometimes” is the ideal summer anthem that optimally showcases both producers ability to effortlessly intertwine the sounds of pop and electronic. Whether you’re driving along the coast of California or find yourself on a dance floor in Ibiza, “Sometimes” will act as the perfect back drop to get lost in with its bouncy, melodic beat and easy, infectious rhythm.
About the single, DallasK explained: “Sometimes’ is a song that we wrote about the push and pull between your past and present. Almost everyone has had someone come into their life who made such an impact that they lingered well beyond the end of the relationship, and this is a song for those people.”
At this year’s Ultra Music Festival, DallasK joined Nicky Romero on stage during his set to play “Sometimes” and the track sent good vibes soaring high above and throughout the crowd. Needless to say, you can expect to hear this one played on the main stage all festival season long.
