Today Deadmau5 & Astralwerks announced a huge partnership. This exciting combination will be the source of all future U.S. mau5trap releases along with being the exclusive distributor and label partner for deadmau5’s label. Astralwerks will kick off their release schedule with the brand new mau5trap compilation album, “We Are Friends Vol. 2”, on November 12th (pre-sale on October 22nd).
This new compilation will include records from BSOD, James Njie, Kairo Kingdom, as well as Deadmau5 – see tracklisting below. Mau5trap recordings will continue to operate as a separate entity in Toronto, however it’ll be interesting to see what steps this partnership takes to change the game within the US.
