If you could possibly imagine a trio of dubstep alien invaders coming to destroy your minds with bass, Destroid wouldn’t be too far off point. On May 7th Excision, Downlink and KJ Sawka are prepared to bring some earth shattering sound to blow you out of the water.
Their debut album, ‘The Invasion’, offers ten original records and will surely be one of the most badass releases of the year. Some tracks feature special guests such as Bassnectar, Space Laces, Messinian, Far Too Loud, and Ajapai which will add a healthy variety of wobbles.
This project has been in the making for over three years and Excision says, “I really believe that the way we are putting it together sets down a new path for electronic music performance.” This comes as no surprise to me considering Excision has always been on the forefront of live performance.
Beginning on Friday May 31st, you’ll be able to experience Destroid’s live performance as they embark on a short summer tour. Hell, I wouldn’t want to miss Excision and Downlink performing with two custom MIDI guitars as KJ Sawka bangs away on a fully custom digital drum kit – oh and of course they’ll be playing all of their new music.
Below you’ll find Destriod’s tour dates as well as their new albums tracklist.
