Destructo – Higher (Tommy Trash Remix)

Destructo, the LA based producer and DJ, recently had his newest track “Higher” off the Higher EP coming out June 10th (OWSLA and Boys Noize Records) remixed by none other than the Australian Tommy Trash. For those unfamiliar with Destructo, he is Gary Richards, the founder HARD Events, the company behind Holy Ship, HARD Day of the Dead, and more. Being no amateur to the dance music scene, it was only inevitable that Richards would break through as an artist.

Tommy Trash’s remix of “Higher” is a loud, in-your-face electro-house banger. I really love the muffled percussion that lays beneath the synthesized samples and soaring synths. This song has a drop that is extremely upbeat, with some clanging synths that Trash does so well. The “Higher” EP comes out June 10th, featuring the “Higher” original mix, a Brodinski remix of the track, and a new Destructo track named “2112”.
