Say what you want about Drake, the man is on the hustle and is successful because of it. Was Take Care softer than silk on molly? Damn right it was. Respect the production, though. And if you ask me, I liked the album. This Star Slinger edit is a perfect example of why. Drake puts in quality work and in turn someone like Slinger can come along and jam it up a little bit to create some super good.
This edit turns a slow, rub your chick’s back pace into a jam you can actually be proud to groove and bump to. The extra snare immediately sets it off. Things just become faster and more energetic with this new piece from hip hop mind Star Slinger. Still on the mellow side without a doubt.
This man has an ear for killer hip hop sounds which is clearly evident here. We previewed a track called Mornin’ from the dj that was some awesome soul glitch hop.
I think you guys are going to like this one. Does Star Slinger top 40’s (Drake’s producer) production? I think so.
