Just a few days ago we brought you news that EDC had officially announced its return to Europe since its last edition of EDC United Kingdom in 2016. While Insomniac playfully teased their announcement with news of a beach venue, just today, Insomniac confirmed the location as Praia Da Rocha, Portugal.
The seemingly picturesque beach (pictured below) is cozied up on the southern tip of Portugal and is routinely a tourist destination for European travelers. Additional information released with the announcement includes news of five stages, over 140 artists, and a full size carnival ride. Pack your bathing suits and sunscreen as EDC is officially heading to Europe. We’ll keep you updated on news regarding the festival.
