Electric Zoo Surprises with Epic Live Release of Phase 1 Lineup

Animals all over are losing their minds right now, and for good reason.

In an epic live video on Facebook, Electric Zoo announced it’s Phase 1 lineup a day earlier than expected with headliners Deadmau5 & Eric Prydz, Above and Beyond, and DJ Snake. Joining the already stacked lineup is the father of NYC dance music, Danny Tegnalia, along with Sasha & John Digweed, Seven Lions, Oliver Heldens, Tchami, Sub Focus, Henrik Schwarz live, and so many more! Thus far, both Awakenings and Elrow will be returning to the infamous Sunday School to throw down what’s sure to be two of the most outrageous parties of the entire weekend.

The epic release was made up of a 10 minute countdown followed by a quirky video that poked fun at everyone’s server crashing (#truth), while alluding to players like Deadmau5 being announced. The live lineup announcement had all of us on the edge of our seats, as we were waiting, sweating, and guessing who’s name would be dropped next.

As is tradition, Electric Zoo will take place Labor Day Weekend, September 1-3, 2017 on Randall’s Island. Being New York City’s longest running electronic music festival, it’s clear that it’s 9th edition is setting itself up for not only an unforgettable year, but one that allows it to finally stake its claim as the city’s wildest “6th Boro.”
