When you start planning your Spring Break 2013 there’s really only one thing to think about, how many of your friends are going to come to Electro Beach with you. It’s the second year and Prime Social Group is doing is bigger than ever before. They’re truly redefining the Spring Break experience. Note that that they still have more artists to add to the lineup, but it’s already stacked with acts spanning the different genres of dance music. You have Tiesto who’s arguably the number one in the world, electro-house shave-it up mini German Zedd and my personal favorite Sander van Doorn. After watching Sander’s set at Electric Zoo, he’s probably the one I’m most hyped to see.
It would have been a lot easier to get a bunch of second tier acts and throw a college party. At Electro Beach you get Nicky Romeo, Krewella, 3LAU and more in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico… incredible.
Bringing back a lineup like this to Electro Beach speaks to Prime Social’s desire to throw a premiere EDM festival.
Now that the schedule has been released, it looks like week two is the most stacked with Krewella, 3LAU, Sander Van Doorn, Alesso, Danny Avila (who’s blowing up), Tiesto and Chainsmokers.
Electro Beach Ticket Information
Electro Beach is split into four weeks starting on March 3, 2013 and ending March 29, 2013. The lineup will change from week to week with the announcement of who’s playing when coming soon. Don’t let this stop you, this will sell out and you want to be first at getting the best ticket package and villa.
Ticket Tiers
- GA Party Package – $250 includes 6 nights of general admission to each show
- GA Party Package + Open Bar – $350 includes 6 nights of general admission to each show and 5 nights of open bar
- VIP Party Package – $350 VIP entrance, sections, private bar, meet & greets, backstage access and a swag bag
- VIP Party Package + Open Bar – $450 VIP entrance, sections, private bar, meet & greets, backstage access and a swag bag and free drinks.
The Verdict: Spend the $450 and go VIP. You get to meet the artists, enjoy private roped off sections with your friends and probably take sock shots with Krewella. Who wants to pay for drinks on Spring Break?
Electro Beach Travel & Hotel Information
I recommend letting the experts at Student City take care of the hotel booking, food and more booze. You should only have to worry about recruiting your friends to join you. Flying into Puerto Vallarta is easy with access to the Puerto Vallarta International Airport (code PVR). For booking flights you should either use Kayak or Hipmunk. Both of them deliver a much better experience than regular travel sites like Orbitz or Travelocity.
The Krystal Hotel is located right on the beach and offers the coveted all-inclusive option. The Krystal features multiple restaurants, a swim-up bar, and all of the luxuries that you’d expect from a 4.5 star resort. It’s the Student City HQ in Puerto Vallart and if you book through them, you’ll get hooked up with a nice discount.
The video doesn’t exactly show the mass amounts of raging and debauchery that will be going on, but you get the idea. It’s paradise. Book now through Student City.
