He achieves something powerful with his Requiem, and it hits a darkly balanced vibe throughout. An immersive energy is unleashed from the get-go, with “Ladi” coming in with aggressive percussion. “Asylum” plays between drawn out melodies and dagger-like bass notes, whilst “Voodoo” growls from start to finish as a collaboration with STUCA.
Lastly we have “Warning,” which leaves a lasting impact with insistent drones and thuds.
G-Rex says of Requiem: “Really excited to finally get this EP out. I feel like this body of work really shows the progression of my sound and is much more aggressive than the last.”
