“Rise Up” is Gabriel & Dresden’s brand new original release and it is the product of “a funky, chunky beat added with a huge dose of pure euphoria,” according to their press release. They’ve said that this record was recorded entirely on a 6 oscillator Moog Modular analog synthesizer with their pal Carey “KHAZ” Stansfield. This tune vibes similarly to a progressive house record from the late 90’s and will surely touch your groovy side.
As for the music video, it’s a medley older men smoking cigars, cars, shots of different cities, traffic and chilling views of the moon and earths atmosphere. However, the film is concluded with a female floating through several scenarios, possibly playing off the title as she rises over the earth both mentally and physically.
