It’s been a long five years since we last heard a solo single from sinister French producer Gesaffelstein. After releasing his highly acclaimed and groundbreaking debut album, Aleph, Gesaffelstein kept busy these last couple of years producing and collaborating with big named artists such as Kanye West, The Weeknd, and A$AP Rocky. But it’s been a while since we heard a non-collaborative original project from the face of dark techno himself. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait any longer.
Earlier today, Gesaffelstein released a brand new single called “Reset,” accompanied with a visually appeasing music video. The track is a dark and bass-heavy instrumental that incorporates trap and dark techno production. The video matches the darkness of the track as it hauntingly showcases an interesting observation of modern rap culture.
