Pretty Lights
Derek Vincent Smith has seen a meteoric following since ‘Finally Moving‘ captivated youth across the country years back. Since then, he has developed his own record label, headlined the largest festivals in the country, and created his own sub-genre many dub as electrosoulhiphop. The Colorado native is one of the faces of American edm and it should be recognized that his sets are top to bottom original creations. With the exception of classic samples, Pretty Lights’ live is a complete reflection of one man’s mind and the power of creativity.
Pretty Lights – I Know The Truth by Pretty Lights
Baauer
Baauer is a product of the internet, Brooklyn, Mad Decent Records and the radical uprising of trap music across the edm landscape. He gained massive notoriety with the release of his track ‘Harlem Shake’, a track that remains as a defined turning point in the resurgence of 808’s and trap beats.
Krewella
Making you wet one track at a time, Krewella has developed somewhat of a cult following within the last year. Krewella separates themselves from other other artists and production groups because they collaboratively write and produce their music in house. Sisters Yasmine and Jahan tag team and write original vocals while Rain Man maestro’s things together on the production side. No words can describe the physical energy they bring to a live set which ultimately transmits to the crowd.
RL Grime
One man, two identities. RL Grime AKA Henry Steinway is best known under the pseudonym Clockwork, where he produces big room progressive tracks and became the youngest person to ever sign a deal with Dim Mak Records (Steve Aoki). RL Grime is Steinway’s trap alter-ego, providing him with the opportunity to tackle an entirely different spectrum of sound without rendering the true identity of Clockwork. Trap On Acid was released about six months ago and has since become his most recognized and well known production.
