Renowned for bringing a fresh, and innovative approach to the Tech and Deep House genres, 22-year-old Matt Dash has released a striking remix of British ‘virtual rock band’, Gorillaz’ hit tune “Feel Good Inc.” as a free download for fans. Representative of his distinctive and characteristic sound, Matt has affixed a new layer of intensity to the 2005 track, transforming it from its original, alternative rock state into a grooving, and punchy house tune.
Whilst maintaining the song’s fluid, and melodic air, Matt adds a substantial dose of bass, along with varied percussion rhythms and a series of definitive, and catchy melodies to coalesce seamlessly with the track’s initial elements. The eccentric vocals harmonize artfully with this array of futuristic-sounding synths and lively drum patterns, making for a rework of the original that will undoubtedly evoke a positive response on the dance floor.
Things have been picking up nicely for the Indianapolis-based producer as of late, having recently performed for a massive crowd at the Indy 500 Snake Pit (opening for industry big-names Hardwell, Dillon Francis, and Nervo), and having already earned himself a solid fan base.
