Off to a blazing start in 2015 and with no signs of slowing down, Gramatik is making headlines everywhere you look. Fresh off announcing a Mysteryland appearance, Denis is set to soak Buku in some serious soul this weekend for one of the most anticipated sets of the festival. If you’ve blinked this week…odds are you missed a new announcement from the Lowtemp camp.
One of our favorite tracks off our favorite album of 2014, “Torture” finally has an official video to accompany the flawless guitar strumming of Eric Mendelson. Taking place in the future, the music video shows a 73 year-old Gramatik busting out of a nursing home and hitting the open road with his wheelchair. This is the kind of track made to blast with your windows down cruising on the highway, we think it’s depicted perfectly. Check out the video up top to see what they did with it.
And if you haven’t seen the finished product to Denis’ huge Red Rocks stop, now’s the time to take notice. Rounding out the bill in a big way will be WRR favorite, Opiuo. The native from down under will be bringing along his unmistakably bouncy style with Russ Liquid, Cherub, and Luxas to make May 9th one of the most high profile shows of Gramatik’s life.
