Exit Festival is on the horizon and fans will be flocking from all parts of the earth for the 20th anniversary of the festival, scheduled to take place August 13th-16th in Novi Sad, Serbia. Just this week, we brought you news of Exit’s “re-lineup” that will features artists such as Robin Schulz, Ofenbach, DJ Regard, Amelie Lens, and Tale of Us. You can check out the full lineup by clicking here.
Unless you’re from Serbia, traveling to Exit Festival is no easy task. Unfortunately, there is no airport in Novi Sad for you to fly directly into. However, we’ll be highlighting an array of options that will hopefully make traveling easy and painless.
Belgrade International Airport
This is probably the most logical and easiest way to travel to Novi Sad. Belgrade is the capital of Serbia and is home to its largest international airport. Flying into Belgrade International Airport and then hopping on a bus or taking a taxi to Novi Sad that will take you between 1-1.5 hours. This option is also likely to be the most cost effective and prices will be around $50 euro for a car or $20 euro for bus. Exit Festival also offers shuttles that will take you directly from Belgrade International Airport to Novi Sad.
Budapest Airport
Located in Hungary, Budapest Airport is likely your next best option to traveling to Exit Festival. Although it’s a 4-5 hour drive to Novi Sad, the silver lining here is that you can often find cheap flights into Budapest Airport. The bus/car ride is more expensive, however you may end up saving money if you can snag a cheap flight into Budapest Airport. Similar to Belgrade International, Exit Festival offers shuttles to and from Budapest Airport that can found here.
Additional Options
There’s two other options if you’ve decided against flying into Budapest Airport or Belgrade International. First, Timirsoria Airport located in Romania is about a 2.5-3 hour drive to Novi Sad. Additionally, Zagreb Aiport located in Croatia is another viable option and is about a 4.5-5.5 hour drive to Novi Sad. It should be noted that Exit Festival does not offer any shuttle options if you choose to fly into these airports.
We hope this short guide has provided you with some easy travel options as you plan to make your way to Exit Festival. Stay tuned for more news as we creep closer to August as Exit has promised additional information on stages and artists yet to be released.
