Canadian producer Hairitage is one of the fastest-growing names in bass music and for good reason. Aaron LeClair launched this project in 2015, erupting onto the scene by winning an Ultra Records remix contest hosted by the revered Autograf. Since then, he has dropped a collection of heavy bass bangers that have been supported by the likes of Black Tiger Sex Machine, Diesel (Shaq), Skrillex, Excision, and other global phenoms.
Also turning the heads of many respected labels, Hairitage has released tracks on Subsidia, Never Say Die, and many others. With a dynamic overall sound that utilizes intense buildups and emphatic drops, Hairitage’s recent projects of “The Movement”, “Hustle”, “40 Cal”, and “Hypnosis” have all made huge waves in the electronic space. It is the combination of songs like these and his seamless mixing abilities that have earned Hairitage slots at prime venues such as Lost Lands.
This bearded bass guru continues to expand his influence over the dubstep community with his new project Uncrowned. Put out on Kannibalen Records, this two-track EP throws Hairitage’s creativity in sound design under the spotlight. Hairitage collabs with fellow production wizard Anoxex on the first song “Back Once Again”. This wild bass-fueled anthem embodies components of heavy metal rock and ear-shattering dubstep to make listeners lose their minds.
The second half of Uncrowned is “The Uncrowned King”. Opening with a distorted sequence of subs, the track is centered around spellbinding lyrics from rising rapper Daemon. Its drop comes with a guarantee that mosh pits will be formed. Together, these two groundbreaking heaters are optimal for burning down the dance floor, highlighting Hairitage’s energetic style.
