Pacha landed in Ibiza in 1973 during the hippie movementand was a small Ibizan finca located on the outskirts of the island’s capital Ibiza Town. From what was a converted farmhouse and became a super club, Pacha is now Ibiza’s most recognised and iconic club and has become the the ultimate clubbing destination it is known for today.
Closing for the first time in decades this past winter to remodel, Pacha will pull down the curtain and reopen its doors on Friday, May 4th 2018 for 6 opening parties during the first 3 weekends of May featuring headliners: Hot Since 82, Sven Väth, Seth Troxler, Dixon, Fatboy Slim and Solomun.
With the many corridors, courtyards and dancefloors that make up Pacha, the club would like to dedicate this new era to the residents of the island. On May 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th and 18th the entrance will be free for them until 2:30AM, with valid ID or residence certificate.
With the help of celebrated architect Juli Capella, the historic venue has been redesigned to operate smoother, while retaining the structures original opulent grandeur with a new sensitivity to the values of eco-design and sustainability.
Most notably, the DJ booth has a new position and will now located in the middle of the dance floor, first presented during the Sunday residence of Solomun+1 last year and has now become a permanent change.
