We here at RaverRafting have been extremely busy covering releases by the West Coast’s favorite producer, Illenium. The announcement of his newest collaboration with Kerli, “Sound of Walking Away” had fans teeming for the official release which arrived today. And yes you guessed it, it’s the type of emotional Illenium track we have all fallen in love with. The blending of Kerli’s uplifting vocals with some hard hitting future bass will leave you in a melodic paradise filled with goosebumps and joy. Illenium is notorious for delivering an emotional roller coaster during live performances and releases like “Sound of Walking Away” attest to that.
As festival season is gearing up we couldn’t be more excited to see Illenium on the circuit and hear this anthem in person. If you live for those indescribable moments at festivals that we’ve come to call “confetti moments”, then this track is your calling. Gather your festival crew and prepare to dissolve into a cuddle puddle because this beauty is generating the Nile River of tears. We interviewed Illenium not too long ago as he stopped in NYC and he let us in on some information about a forthcoming album. We can expect this latest release will certainly have a slot on his second album.
