Our favorite melodic/future bass producer is back with yet another tune to grace your ear drums. Following up on the massive release of his “Awake” album, Nick Miller aka Illenium followed up with an official release for Marshmello’s “Silent”. The track has so far received a variety of remixes from artists like Slushii and Tiesto. With Slushii’s remix we hear a sound that is eerily similar to a Slushmello production with future bass elements. Meanwhile Tiesto puts forth more of a big room approach to his remix that is sure to be a festival favorite. Not to say the Illenium remix is the best one, however it surely caters to the sound his fans have fallen in love with.
As with previous tracks, Illenium kicks it off with some well played guitar to get the feels flowing early. Khalid’s vocals ring loud until Nick introduces an emotional synth overload that is accompanied by a melodic beat reminiscent of his style. This remix was debuted at Lost Lands a couple of weeks ago, however we can be sure to hear it during Illenium’s upcoming fall tour. His “Awake” tour will be touching down at locations all across the US so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a date near you!
