Jason Ross and Ophelia Records End 2020 With “Intertwined” feat. RUNN

Jason Ross has had an explosive 2020, with highly successful releases spanning the entire 365 days. We kicked off the new year with his debut album, 1,000 Faces, and following 23-city tour before lockdown with Sunny Lax and Matt Fax. We got to see him delve back into the world of melodic dubstep with “One Look” and “Open Water” that garnered hundreds of thousands of streams. Most recently, his highly successful collab with Seven Lions and Jonathan Mendelsohn that has reached over 1 million sets of ears and has become an addictive ear worm for fans.

We have also seen the rising producer get weekly Twitch streams on his own channel on Thursdays and his Atlas series with Insomniac on Mondays. Ross has also stepped into the online festival space with the Dreamstate livestream, Digital Mirage, Nocturnal, and Seven Lions’ Visions. From humble beginnings in 2015 to now earning his stripes with millions of streams, artist support from Armin Van Buuren, Slander, Gryffin, Kaskade, Above & Beyond, to name a few, you would be hard pressed to find anyone that hasn’t heard of or isn’t a huge fan of Jason Ross.

Rounding out the year, Ross and Ophelia Records have one last release for us with his latest single, “Intertwined”, featuring highly sought after EDM vocalist RUNN. We gently start out with RUNN’s soft vocals before warm synths wrap around us like our favorite soft blanket (or should we say sound blanket?). Then Ross bridges the gap between trance and melodic dubstep once again by balancing soaring dub drops and elements of a beautiful, encouraging love song. This one will definitely be on our playlists for Valentine’s and we can imagine crowds will be holding each other close to it when we can rave safely together again.
