John Digweed Will Release ‘Last Night at Output’ Compilation Album

Cue the waterworks — John Digweed announced he will release a compilation album of his last performance at Output in Brooklyn, which was conjointly the closing night of the now legendary New York club.

As a continuation of the artist’s Live In… mix compilation series, Last Night at Output will bring back to life John Digweed’s New Years Eve 2018 show that featured over 70 tracks played throughout the 10-hour set from players like Âme, Agoria, Cassy, Claude VonStoke, Dixon, François K, Hot Since 82, John Digweed, Laurent Garner, OXIA, Steve Bug, The Drifter, and many more.

For those who had the privilege to step through Output’s doors once, twice, or too many times to remember since 2013, Last Night at Output will be an incredibly special keepsake and listen, just as it is for the artist who played behind the club’s decks regularly and relentlessly.

Recalling his last night and the upcoming album, John Digweed said:
“From sadness to joy, I had so many mixed emotions and an overwhelming pressure to deliver a party that a club of that stature deserves. I really put my heart and soul into that party drawing from my favorite tracks over the years. The 10-hour set seemed to fly by and there was just a constant sea of smiling faces from the dance floor all night long as the crowd literally savored every record on that crystal clear Funktion One sound system. After listening back to the set, I knew this album had to come out and not just be another mix online. It deserved to be a part of music collections and a memento for years to come. I am sure this album will bring back some amazing memories for the people there that night, and for those who were not, I hope you can immerse yourself in one of my favorite sets in New York for years to come.”

John Digweed’s Last Night at Output is set to be released on May 3 via Bedrock Records. It will be available in a six piece CD set and four piece vinyl set. You can pre-order the compilation here.
