Introducing a new mystifying sound to the world of electronic music, DJ, producer, and multimedia artist juuku has been taking over the spotlight. Having recently signed with Dim Mak Records, juuku is prepared to drop his mind-bending EP, Lavender Dreams and Scarlett Nightmares, this spring. Portending this highly anticipated project, juuku has decided to release the first single from the EP, “Moonlight”.
Filled with ethereal soundscapes and kaleidoscopic bass frequencies, “Moonlight” is bound to be an instant hit. Featuring striking vocals from the talented Gianna Taylor, juuku balances the instrumental with his lyrics in seamless fashion. Speaking on the song, juuku says, “this song to me represents capturing a beautiful moment of energy at night – one of the very first moments I was introduced to electronic music live. The energy, the people around me, and the type of world that I was brought into, and how magical it felt during that very first time,”
Fans will have the opportunity to see juuku’s unique live set during select dates on Steve Aoki’s HiROQUEST: Genesis Tour this winter, where he will likely be playing music from the upcoming EP.
