LA based producer Kayzo has long been known for his extremely versatile sound that can encompass multiple genres in one track. It’s not uncommon for him to throw down a hardstyle beat and immediately transition into crushing bass that is a fraction of the BPM. It’s this unique style that has skyrocketed Kayzo to the forefront of the EDM scene and has garnered him a massive following.
His latest release is a collaboration with shYbeast (I See Star’s frontman Devin Oliver) and Frank Zummo who is the drummer for the famed Sum 41. The track features punk like vocals from shYbeast and masterfully done drums by Zummo. The Kayzo element of the track is in the form of a hard hitting bass line that is layered over with vocals. The track showcases Kayzo’s ability to work with a multitude of genres and live instruments on any track. If there’s one thing we know for certain it’s that we are craving to hear another unique collaboration like this from Kayzo in the future.
