Hitting the ground running with his single “Waves,” Kidwaste has returned and is now revealing the final single from what is becoming a highly anticipated EP Colors Of Your Heart. Releasing on Counter Records, the single couldn’t be at a more fitting home all things considered. Sonically, “Waves,” is a joyful ride from start to finish. The euphoric moments meld nicely with the soothing production work at hand. The songwriting is the strongest aspect here, but there’s really no weak spots to be found.
Getting his start in the bedroom in North France, he’s now over 200 million streams and his future couldn’t be brighter. The man is staple within the modern music scene, things wouldn’t be quite the same without him

“Waves was one of the earlier demos on Colors of Your Heart that remained throughout various tracklist changes over years because of how attached I am to its themes. It’s about going through the motions and feelings of not being able to create despite the need to. After many revisions and attempts to rework it, this version (finished in 2019) is the one being released, at a time when I definitely was in the waves, again.”
