While Knife Party may have risen to the top of the edm world with their fame from Internet Friends, the duo from Pendulum have once again showcased their talent in creating aggressive dance tracks in their second ep Rage Valley. Swire and McGrillen don’t let their notoriety define them as they explore new genres and styles throughout the four tracks.
Rage Valley, the premier track, is a fast electro house anthem reminiscent of Porter Robinson or Zedd. Bonfire and Centipede are reggae-infused dubstep tracks similar to Tourniquet, while the Knife Party crosses over to moombahton with Sleaze ft. Mistajam.
