2016 was a hell of a start for Latmun, and 2017 has proven that Latmun is here to stay. With CRSSD Fest, a summer in Ibiza at numerous venues, BPM Portugal, and upcoming shows at EDC Orlando and Printworks, the engines are on full throttle for the time being. With his premiere Footsteps on the revered label Hot Creations owned by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, producers and fans alike love what they’re hearing.
Footsteps delivers a title track with vocals by Amy Douglas that capture you joined with a contagious grooving beat that is unstoppable, whereas “Piquant” has enough energy fire in it to “get down to the funky beat” as we’re ordered to, gladly.
The curation of the Footsteps EP came from inspiration of trying encompass all of the things that make house music so special to me. Grooves that mean you can’t leave the dancefloor, emotion that gives you goosebumps, coupled with sounds that spark excitement. It is an honour to release this with Hot Creations which has been a dream, motivation and inspiration to me from the very start – Latmun
