“Warm Disco” offers over six minutes of a perfectly concocted mix of each artist’s trademark – Lee Foss’ creative nu-skool house music production and mesmerizing, lush vocals from Anabel Englund. The track is sensual, appealing, and easy to move to, making it fit to find its way into livestream sets all season long.
This isn’t the first time the two artists have made magic together. Talented singer-songwriter Anabel Englund first saw success when she collabed with Lee Foss and Jamie Jones in 2012 with their single “Reverse Skydiving” on Hot Natured. Then earlier this year, Anabel Englund was brought in by Less Foss and Disciples to be the featured vocalist on their track “Only The Gods.”
Lee Foss has become known in the underground scene for redefining house music. In 2008, the Chicago native teamed up with Jamie Jones to kick-start Hot Creations, pioneering a new and unique sound born of its founders’ deep affinity with old disco records and soulful beats. Collaboratively known as Hot Natured, the duo released melodic house music with an extraterrestrial undertone in both their productions and creative direction. Today, its catalog boasts productions by some of the most elite names in the industry. Alongside leading Emerald City, the underground house innovator spearheads Repopulate Mars, the world-renowned label and event series that brings together the best names in house and techno.
Anabel Englund recently hit #1 on dance radio charts in the U.S. with AREA10 founder MK and Nightlapse’s remix of “So Hot.”
