The countdown to Elements Lakewood is officially firing up. With only 18 days to go, the festival just announced its full activities program including a roller skating rink, bonfire jam out sessions, interactive theater, pirate ship voyages, a rock-themed bar, cabin decorating contests and much more. In true Summer camp fashion, here’s a rundown of all of the wildly fun, exotic, and outlandish activities to indulge in over the weekend:
Cabin Decorating Contest
The most ingeniously creative and festively decorated cabin porch will be rewarded with a champagne toast on Saturday + $150 to spend on food & beverages.
Roller Skating Rink
Get your disco skating groove on to beats provided by Brooklyn based label & party Tiki Disco.
Lakewood Sanitarium
Take an interactive theater tour through the asylum for a glimpse of the elemental witches that hold dominion over the minds of it’s patients. Delve into multiple rooms filled with actors from mystical worlds, complete tasks & play games to discover revelations from the Mystic and the Oracle.
Pirate Ship Voyage
Ahoy all ye Scallywags! Set sail on the camp’s very own pirate ship for a roundabout on the lake and listen to a 3-piece pirate band playing all your favorite high seas shanties.
Bonfire Jam-out
After a long day of dancing and other shenanigans, chill out and jam out at a bonfire. Guests are encouraged to BYOI – bring your own instruments! (accordions, guitar, percussion, flute, horn, your voice, etc). A different host will lead the melodies each night.
Snakes and Suds Rock Bar
No need to head back to Brooklyn if you’re feeling a little dive bar action, enjoy a drink and listen to your favorite classics + live bands at the pop up rock bar.
Deep Mind Terrors
Explore two art and installation buildings in the heart of the festival. Cosmos: come heal in our Fortress of Comfort laying on pillows, listening to ambient music and unwind to a skylight of psychedelic projections. Chaos room: a room fueled by interactive experiences, guests enter into a realm of light and surface manipulation. Lose yourself in the chaos LED installations, projection mapping, low lit paintings, and voodoo jam outs.
