Hosted by New York’s Teksupport, Maceo Plex will present a showcase for his record label Ellum in Brooklyn this April.
Joining the techno titan will be the indomitable Brazilian ANNA, alongside hometown heroes Joey Beltram and Avision.
While many New Yorkers are more familiar with the rising talent Avision, who recently played at the third edition of Time Warp US this past fall, revelers will be in for a treat as Joey Beltram will be bringing years of experience and taste to the warehouse decks to offer something a little different.
Queens native Joey Beltram has been shaping the house and techno scene on a local and global scale since the early 90s. A few of his accomplishments include inspiring Daft Punk’s sound (as noted in their single, “Teachers”), birthing the ever-popular effect “Mentasm Riff,” remixing Human Resource’s “Dominator,” and taking over festivals like Movement, Awakenings, and Tomorrowland. Most recently, he’s released work on labels Tronic, Trax, and Natura Viva.
Showcasing a fist full of the genre’s finest, this event is set to take place at a secret warehouse location on April 25 in Brooklyn.
