Major Lazer on Good Morning America? Yeah, we’re surprised too…or perhaps we shouldn’t be. The official music video for “Lean On” currently has an astounding 412 million views on YouTube.
In addition, front-man Diplo has produced big time hits this year with Madonna and Justin Bieber — it’s safe to say he’s left the world of underground and emersed himself in the realm of pop music.
Aside from that, there are two takeaways from the Good Morning America performance: First, Diplo is playing the guitar rather than handling the turntable. Second, MØ’s voice in a live setting is stunning and she carries herself with an incredible amount of swagger on stage. Be sure to check out the video, it’ll be worth your while.
