The Belgian dance duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike have made a stellar festival anthem just in time for summer, remixing Major Lazer’s moombah-inspired banger “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)”. While keeping the summery, reggae vibe of Major Lazer’s original, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike turn it into a huge and faster house track.
Already riding high after the huge success of their two back-to-back Beatport #1 tracks (‘Turn It Up’/’Mammoth’) and the monster that was the Swedish House Mafia favourite ‘Wakanda’, the duo dive straight back into their love of African-inspired beats and vocals. Keeping the sun-soaked bump’n’grind of Lazer’s original cut, Dimitri and Mike still give proceedings their trademark main room sound, delivering an epic edit that is sure to feature heavily across this year’s international festival circuit. – Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike press release
Aptly called the Tomorrowland remix, this song certainly will be played endlessly this summer. It’s perfect for a main stage atmosphere, with an echoing synth line that a whole crowd will go nuts for. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s remix will be released via Mad Decent but there is currently no set date.
