Greece born and bred Mel Ody continues to kill it on the vocal track front in particular, putting out another well-blended single titled “Resist.” The maturity in the vocal’s melody and technicality on the production side made the tune a particular winner. The easy-going percussion and relatable lyrics are more than enough to pull you in and keep you there. The smash of a heart will be hard to “Resist” on this one.
“For me “Resist” symbolizes the transitions you experience between situations. As I was moving away from the busy season of June and July into the chill vibe of August, it made me think about how I’m coming back to Athens soon and that how much of a transitional period from summer to winter this month is, just like the relationship described in “Resist”. Hope it resonates with you!”
