Nora En Pure is easily one of the top artists of the deep house scene, nearly taking the crown for herself. This past year her remix of Sofi Tukker “Fantasy” and her “We Found Love” featuring Ashiban are more validation of why she is a tastemaker. Every track that joins her discography is immediately streamed by the thousands by her fan base. While we all love those bangers that get that dance floor stirring, it’s always refreshing to get a spa-like treatment from those deep house remedies. This past Friday, Nora En Pure dropped her single, “Birthright”, a stirring rendition that really puts us into a blissful state of mind. Fans have gotten tastes of “Birthright” from her 2019 Coachella performance and Purified at the Brooklyn Mirage.
“Birthright” starts us off with a flurry of strings lifting us up to En Pure’s signature deep house beat. Complete with her delicate treatment of piano that intricately traces throughout, the track comes together like a dream. We definitely caught ourselves in our feels with this one, with the relaxing melody giving us the opportunity to open up.
