On Tuesdays We Techno, Volume 36: Wehbba, Barbuto, La Fleur & More

It’s time for another deadly dose of tenacious tunes. This month’s volume of On Tuesdays We Techno is oozing with some of our favorite new speed ball tracks meant to dominate every dance floor they touch.

We get into it immediately with La Fleur’s “Hunting Grounds” off her new Aphelion EP. This beauty marks the first release on her imprint Power Plant and was a focal point of her Essential Mix and Cercle Stream, a.k.a. the perfect way to send us off today. Continuing on with the uptempo vibes, we roll straight into BOT & Will Clarke’s “Feeling Good.” It’s got a funky, offbeat, techno ting to it with massive builds and a big room feel to get you moving.

Next up, Austin-based producer Barbuto and French producer Da Fresh drive us through a whirlwind of vivacious beats with their (very fittingly named) “Zig Zag.” Out now on Unity Records, the track’s energy is the type that will command the momentum of dance floors from clubs to warehouses alike, and perfectly transitions us into our mid-spiral killer. A*S*Y*S drops in with his monstrous piece of work “The Acid.” Sitting pretty at the #1 spot on Beatport’s Top 100 Techno chart, you’ll recognize this Fe Chrome release from sets by players like Amelie Lens and Bart Skils.

We begin to round out our spiral in double-time with Manchester gent Mark Bradbury, a.k.a Rudosa’s, “Smash the System.” As part of his No Man’s Land EP on Suara, the track’s dominating presence and featured vocals have made it a recent crowd favorite – and for good reason.

Now is typically the time when we decide to send you home either soaring, shaking, or both with one last hitter. But, we love Wehbba and DJ Deeon’s “We Have Bass” so much that we’re just going to drop the entire Drumcode released EP, and let you have at it.
