On Tuesdays We Techno, Volume 41: Anakim, Atroxx & More

In our latest roundup of On Tuesdays We Techno, we’ll be spiraling down the rabbit hole with three stunning tracks from four of our favorite players in the underground scene right now.

First up is Los Angeles stalwart Anakim with his recently released “Uncanny Valley.” Out via Insomniac Records, this little beauty was the artist’s golden ticket to winning Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland Discovery Project, crowning Anakim as one of the best emerging talents in the industry right now – and for hell of a good reason.

Next is Montreal’s Atroxx, whose music we’ve been in pursuit of release after release for his absolute relentless, brooding techno we can’t get get enough of. This time around, he drops a cosmic-induced bomb on Kraftek Music with “Make You Dance” via Pleasurekraft’s Monolith Series Volume 3 compilation.

Finally, we’ve got a soaring collab from industry veteran Bart Skils and rising Canadian talent Weska. And we love it even more because it’s the result of the duo connecting at one of our favorite clubs in North America, CODA Toronto. Out via Drumcode Records, Polarize EP is made up of two tracks, with the title-track packing rugged basslines and pin-sharp percussion, while “Lost On You” serves up a heady trip into the abyss with a sinister vocal line and powerful climax.
